Speaking of the creation of the geodesic glass dome tent is very interesting and exciting. The client comes from the Wadi Rum Valley in Jordan. He owns a very famous camp which is called Aicha memory camp. He has run the camp for several years, he is very familiar and independent and experienced with the operation of the camp site, so he is certain that he did want glass dome tent.
We designed the geodesic glass dome house with golden painted aluminum alloy frame to fit the environment, the dome covered with half transparent tempered glass and half blue tempered glass.
Inside of the glass dome house, there is a wooden wall to divide the inner space to two parts, restroom and bathroom, It’s fantastic to see the stars through the transparent part, and for the blue glass part, it’s for bed and rest area, at the back of the beds, we add insulation to protect the privacy.
Size: We made the 6m and 7m glass dome tent for our client for luxury camp.
Material: The main material of the geodesic glass dome house is aluminum alloy frame and covered with tempered glass.
Capacity: The 6m and 7m glass dome tent can hold 1-2 beds for 2-4 people to live in.
Accessory: The glass dome tent for camp accessory including glass door, window, insulation, curtain, lights, floor system, platform etc.
Wind and Snow load: Glass dome tent is heavy duty and strong structure dome tent which windload 100KM/H and snowload is 75KG/SQM.

When the glass dome tent order confirmed, we have very short time to finish the production, so we communicated with the raw material factory in advance to make sure to meet the delivery time. The frame of the geodesic glass dome house is patent aluminum alloy which is lightweight and good strength, good corrosion resistance, excellent processing performance, easy to regenerate, it’s the best for packing and delivery and environmentally friendly.

The glass dome tent should be strong enough, so we use the patent aluminum alloy for the main structure. First, we cut the raw material to pieces and then drill holes, then we weld the matrial into triangles and painted golden color, it’s lightweight, anti-rust, stable and completely safe, can be easily regenerated and  it’s environmentally friendly, can be used at least 15-20 years.

We decided to choose tempered glass and Low-e glass for the cover of the geodesic dome tent, the glass is very heavy and 100% leakproofness, so our tent can be is 100% waterproof, soundproof, smooth and shiny, and it can be cleaned easily with water when it’s dusty. People like the blue glass and transparent one, also, you can choose different glass color according to your project.

We use the solid insulation for the glass dome tent to make the dome inside to be warmer and cooler. The insulation also can be waterproof and soundproof and can be easily cleaned and installed.
Besides of the insulation, for the inside layer, you can also use the tempered glass, so the dome is double-layer glass dome tent, that would be better for luxury hotel room.
